       Something I am slowly coming to terms with in my life is the fact that I wouldn't have the faith I have, the creativity I have, the strength I have, and the mind I have had I had a cookie cutter life. A more mainstream, baseline life would have deprived me of the necessary adversity and suffering that was needed to seed such a deep faith in the Lord.       Nor would my stimulus for creativity be there if I had the whole 10 year plan "marriage, kids, and suburb house" lifestyle. In my deprivation of normalcy, my faith in Christ was deeply seeded down into the foundations of my very being. I would have never known how much I needed Jesus if I was always getting invited to the cool kids parties and allowed to join the clubs and groups I wanted to join.       I would have been oblivious to my bondage instead of painfully aware of it, and that painful awareness drove me right into the arms of my Infinite God.      A...

Experiments fall under the same pitfall. It's because the more complex a system is the more variables it has, the harder it is to control, and the harder it is to anticipate or predict outcomes. The more time that will elapse also greatly increases the uncertainty and unpredictability.            Plans are an excellent coping mechanism for people afraid of not having control of their lives or fear losing said control, but as most of us are aware by now, plans can be destroyed in a moment and forced to be c...

    I have a lot of big thoughts. Complex thinking kind of comes naturally for me, and I have a way of putting my thoughts into words that is definitely in its own ballpark. Sometimes I have a hard time sorting through my own mind, which is one of the reasons I write so much.        I find my ability to cope with things has gotten easier over the years, and my faith in God has only gotten stronger. I meditate a lot on God's complexity, on His infinity, and the vastness of His mind and His creation because such meditation is not only mind expanding in a lot of ways, but it also gives me a kind of "hope of hopes."  The idea that existence was created by an unfathomably infinite, and unfathomably powerful being doesn't intimidate me like it does some people. Politics is the art of compromise. I've heard this quote in my classes and over the course of my years of studying and paying attention to American politics.  I want to look at what compromise is for discussion's sake. Compromise is the outcome of decisions in the game of political discourse which creates an equilibrium between the competing ideological factions. An equilibrium occurs when both sides of a political divide and disagreement are sufficiently satisfied with the approach and settlement of an issue to which few to no objections are raised about the issue that can stall or halt a bill or legislation from passing through the political body Perfect equilibriums in politics are rarely, if ever, achieved. But an equilibrium/compromise can be achieved on an individual level enough to garner a majority to pass the legislation regardless of opposition by compromising with individual actors within the system.  "The Palace of the Infinite God" If I were to design God's palace, and He were to give me free reign on creativity and architecture, I would design a palace of immense splendor. This palace would sit at the center of the Capitol City of All creation, and all the buildings, parks, fields, monuments, and homes of this city would perfectly encircle this palace.  To start, the palace would be seven-sided, structured like a heptagon. The sides would have a gorgeous blue, silver, and white marble roof supported by blue, silver, and white marble Greek-style columns. The column-supported roof would be exactly 111 meters high, and the entire structure would be 7.777 kilometers in diameter.  The main part of the palace would be a dome structure that encompasses an inner circumference of the structure and rises 222 meters above the rest of the structure, bringing the total height of the palace to 333 meters. It is in the imagination that concepts like an infinite existence or infinite complexity gain their plausibility and accessibility.     Without imagination, these massive ideas and big picture constructs are inaccessible and unentertainable. In the abstract creative processes involved in imagining complex constructs and creative ideas, we see the fullest potential of humanity made manifest. It is in this process that humanity can truly achieve a higher liberty and a higher purpose.        I believe the imagination is a lot more real than society or our culture would give it credit for.
