The Infinite Existence

For me, nothingness cannot possibly exist. It's kind of an odd paradox. Nothingness exists as a concept, but by its very definition it doesn't. Using the term existence and nothingness together is like saying something like "dark lightness" or "light darkness." Because I believe nothingness cannot exist, I take the absolute opposite of the position of nonexistence. To put it simply, I believe existence has to be infinite.       I don't think there is a middle ground. I don't think there is a finite universe surrounded by an infinite nothingness. I believe it is all or nothing. I believe it is either infinite or it wouldn't exist at all.       Lets discuss the nature of an infinite existence. For starters, let's discuss the structure and arrangement of our own universe. The foundation of our universe is spacetime. This provides the base or "matrix" by which energy and matter can be stationed in and operate in. Without spacetime, ther...

Justice, Vengeance, and Balance

Justice is the perfection of vengeance. Vengeance, in its most raw form, is never fair, nor is it balanced. When a human takes revenge, that human will never strike the best and equal retaliation for the wrong done to them. Human vengeance always leads to an escalation. The "you punch me, I stab you, you shoot me" escalation of hostilities that only further propagates the cycle of hate and bitterness.        Humans have a hard time determining the fairness and balance of the tit-for-tat of revenge. A major social problem of revenge is the social web of retribution. The social web of retribution occurs when one person is violated by another and the victim brings in third parties (friends or family members) to exact revenge, and then the initial violator brings in their third parties (their friends and family members) and what was initially a single violation turns into an open conflict between the belligerents which in essence becomes a war.       This is the "social web ...

The Stable Game:

People usually think of games like sports or conflicts like war as primarily dichotomous. People usually view conflict as two sided. However, in order to prevent the two sides from Annihilating each other, Arbitration is essential. So essentially there are actually three players in things like sporting matches. The two teams, and the referee is the 3rd player in the game. The referee is the Arbiter. They stabilize the game. In a more functional system of checks and balances, any one of the three branches can act as an arbiter between the other two in disagreements. It is a stable arrangement. The perfect arrangement of a power structure. I hypothesize that this is one of the possible reasons for the concept of the holy trinity and how God arranges himself to Arbitrate himself so he can govern a truly infinite existence. The United States attempted to mimic the same principle, but because of entropy and the imperfection of the physical realm, it is not a flawless arrangement, but is sti...

The Choking of Progress

Overregulation by the government or ruling power not only chokes liberty, it chokes progress. If you hyperregulate everything, it is a lot harder to maintain a consistent and continuous pace of technological and social progress and innovation       This happens because of the sweeping generalizations done by lawmakers and policymakers who often, either collectively as a group or individually, do not understand the complexities and depth of the situation they are trying to address or problem they are trying to solve.         As a result, the policies they make and the regulations they try to implement are too simplistic for the complex problem and as a result have unintended consequences that can easily make things worse.        Overregulation chokes progress because of the extreme slowing down of the innovation process that intelligent individuals and groups attempt to use to achieve wondrous and beautiful advancements. Overregulation also disrupts and chokes the financing of these ...

The Halo Hierarchy

So I've talked a lot about cyclical hierarchies before, like rock paper scissors hierarchies or the holy trinity or the system of checks and balances. These systems have three points on the hierarchy, with each point being equal to the others in terms of power and authority, but given authority over one another in a cyclical manner (paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper).        I want to make this system even more complex. Since a triangle is the simplest circle in a sense, lets make the rock paper scissors system with many more points than just three. A true cyclical hierarchy. A halo hierarchy, where the same system of power is applied to 8, 19, 47, 65, etc points of power that follow the same power system as rock paper scissors. This can get extremely complex.       A couple years a go, I tried to design a defensive system of a fighting force based on this system. In this system, you had multiple soldiers, each one was given the assignment of defending som...

The Value of Human Life

What makes a human life valuable? This is an extremely important question for the stability of a nation and the prevention of murder and killing. There are many reasons human life is valuable. Many philosophical reasons. Many ethical reasons. Many moral reasons. Many economic reasons.       Let's start with the philosophy of the mind and consciousness. A human being is a receiver of an external existence and the projector of an internal one. If the receiver wasn't there, then to that individual the external world wouldn't be there either, for all intents and purposes. Neither would the internal world. What I mean by this is that human consciousness is a world in its own right, being made up of a unique reality filled with unique beliefs and experiences that make up that person's individuality and identity.        By this definition of human consciousness, when you kill a human being, you are killing an entire world. An entire reality in a sense. This is one of the many ...

The Power of Belief Systems

What believe structures your reality and provides the foundation of your existence. Your mind is both what projects your reality to the external world and what provides the mental construct of your internal world. The mind and the imagination are the core components of your entire existence.       The primary part of your mind that deals with reality is your belief system. Your belief system is the foundation of how you view the world, the universe or existence. Now some beliefs run the risk of being incorrect. That's unavoidable. Because of uncertainty, it is very difficult to validate or invalidate beliefs outside of the immediate field of awareness of an individual.      Even with this uncertainty, belief systems are absolutely essential and a prerequisite for a rewarding and purposeful conscious experience of a person, human or otherwise.      The bigger and more complex the belief system, the more rewarding a person's experience is. What bigger belief system is there than ...
