The Eternal Teacher
One of the most dignified and noble professions in the world is that of a teacher.
Teachers pass the knowledge of previous generations and learners to the new generation, which in all honesty is probably the most important action taken in society.
In order for a culture to survive and be resilient, its history and knowledge needs to be ingrained in every generation that is born into it. Societies don't last long if they fail to educate their kids.
In a sense, the security of a nation depends on an effective and quality education system, as a lapse in this creates a kind of "threat from within" where an uneducated populace becomes a detriment to the security of it's own nation. We don't need to look very far to see this.
For me, the greatest teacher in existence obviously is the Creator. The conscious force and person who permeates the whole of existence. He is reknowned for His lesson-teaching. In fact, He teaches the most important lessons a person can learn. Lessons on morality, on ethics, and truth. On justice, goodness, and value.
Lessons that are often hard to understand for many people, but He teaches them nonetheless.
From my view, if existence is infinite, then the amount of lessons He can teach is also infinite. Just like any schooling, some lessons are easier then others, and some can often be quite harsh.
Over the scope of an indefinite time period He can teach as many lessons as you can imagine. Some quite valuable. Some quite beautiful. Some even glorious.
The most important thing to note is that God has always been a teacher. It's one of his most definitive traits. Teaching is a divine profession, an essential profession, and one of immense utility and security value for a society.
Though the teachers of this world prepare every new generation for their duel with the challenges and pleasures of life, the Creator is lesson-giver forever. His lessons never cease, and have no limit in terms of their value, their wonder, the beauty, and their glory.
We are eternal students of His school.
