Wealth of Knowledge versus Wealth of Capital

A lot of people dream about wealth and fancy houses and cars as we grow up and well into adulthood, thinking that these things will make us happy and fulfilled. I've never been wealthy, so I wouldn't be able to judge or discern whether they are as fulfilling as they may appear to be on the outside.

It's hard to get rich in America when the doors won't open or you don't play by the rules.

When it comes to getting rich, the saying "it's not what you know, it's who you know" is painfully true here. I would know. I know a lot of stuff and I'm definitely not rich.

There are gatekeepers here. They determine who gets into the careers or the lifestyles that are desirable and who doesn't. I would know this too. I have knocked on a few doors that probably won't ever open, but I still knock nonetheless.

Even though I don't have a lot of money, I have a wealth of knowledge. Terrabytes of data in my mind, haha. I have a life experience and life story that is unique. My story and my knowledge may be beneficial and helpful to other people, and if I can help someone and make their lives better and more fulfilling, that may be even more valuable than a wealth of resources.

Knowledge has power, yes, and it is valuable, but I have something even more powerful than knowledge, a relationship with an infinite God. A relationship with Jesus.

An infinite God has an infinite amount of knowledge and ideas and an infinite creative capacity.

Any scope of material wealth I accrue or power I gain is truly worthless compared to the depth, scope, power, and creativity of an infinite God. Even the power and wealth of entire nations are zero points to the wealth and abundance of the knowledge and creativity of an infinite God.

"All the nations are as nothing before Him, they are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless"

      -Isaiah 40:17

Being in a relationship with something that powerful, and myself being a sample of His limitless mind rooted into a broader infinite system gives me access to a knowledge supply over the course of eternity that is truly bottomless, endless, limitless, infinite. The value of this relationship is priceless.

No amount of wealth can even compete with the value of my relationship with Jesus. It's more precious than a newborn child and stronger than the pull of a black hole.

For now, I get to experience this relationship in my mind in this life, but in eternity I get the complete and overwhelming glory of being in God's presence for all time and exploring the countless worlds and countless galaxies and countless universes of God's infinite creation.

For now, I rely on my wealth of knowledge and my wealth in spirit. The wealth of my internal mind. It is far more abundant in that creativity than any billions of dollars of material things could ever be. Plus, matter is bound by entropy. It will all die eventually. The infinite mind will never die, nor could it.
