Time

I've heard debates over the course of my life on the nature of time. A lot of it had to do with whether time was cyclical or linear. Topics like eternal recurrence, where the universe just recycles itself over and over and everything just keeps happening over and over. Not the most ideal arrangement by any means, but its one possibility.

The other argument is for linear progression. A truly endless progression of new events and happenings with some coincidences and mimicry of events, but no pure recurrence.

I like that arrangement better. I also like the concept of timelessness. A state of existence where time is irrelevant and even non-existent, yet there is something still there. No before. No after. It just is. That's kind of how I view God. A truly static, unchanging thing. A timeless Creator. The Creator of time. The Creator of everything.

Since I believe His creation is infinite, I believe their are many ways of arranging time. Time, from my view, would be relative to what world you are on and what realm of existence you are in. It probably differs in progression, pace, and structure pertaining to different universes.

Time, by modern physics standards is considered to be apart of the same fabric and arrangement of space. They are one in the same. So pertaining to different worlds or even universes, if time operates differently in those different places, then so too probably does space.

Time also operates differently based on a consciousness and a conscious beings level of awareness or state of mind. I've felt time change, speeding up or slowing down based on my moods and activities. Obviously time on the external doesn't actually change. What changes is your perception and awareness of it. Your mind is a powerful thing.

Another key component of time in physical universes is entropy. Time is the driving force of entropy. Entropy is the decay and breakdown of complex systems as well as the natural predisposition of matter and energy to attempt to return to a state of uniformity.

Time is what drives this. Entropy is kind of the "fruit" of the passing of time in a way.

I do believe there are places that aren't bound by time. Places that are static and eternal. A timeless realm. I believe that realm is the realm of forms, ideas, archetypes, abstract realities and information. I believe timelessness is the territory of God.
