The Stable Game:

People usually think of games like sports or conflicts like war as primarily dichotomous. People usually view conflict as two sided. However, in order to prevent the two sides from Annihilating each other, Arbitration is essential. So essentially there are actually three players in things like sporting matches. The two teams, and the referee is the 3rd player in the game. The referee is the Arbiter. They stabilize the game. In a more functional system of checks and balances, any one of the three branches can act as an arbiter between the other two in disagreements. It is a stable arrangement. The perfect arrangement of a power structure. I hypothesize that this is one of the possible reasons for the concept of the holy trinity and how God arranges himself to Arbitrate himself so he can govern a truly infinite existence. The United States attempted to mimic the same principle, but because of entropy and the imperfection of the physical realm, it is not a flawless arrangement, but is still better than any other system on the planet, at least conceptually.
