The Power of Belief Systems
What believe structures your reality and provides the foundation of your existence. Your mind is both what projects your reality to the external world and what provides the mental construct of your internal world. The mind and the imagination are the core components of your entire existence.
The primary part of your mind that deals with reality is your belief system. Your belief system is the foundation of how you view the world, the universe or existence. Now some beliefs run the risk of being incorrect. That's unavoidable. Because of uncertainty, it is very difficult to validate or invalidate beliefs outside of the immediate field of awareness of an individual.
Even with this uncertainty, belief systems are absolutely essential and a prerequisite for a rewarding and purposeful conscious experience of a person, human or otherwise.
The bigger and more complex the belief system, the more rewarding a person's experience is. What bigger belief system is there than believing in an infinite God who has the power to (and probably already did) create an infinite existence with unlimited potential throughout the scope of an eternal timeline.
This belief system truly liberates the mind and expands your mental horizons almost limitlessly. Even though the requirement for this belief system is serving this God, this Creator also created the concept of liberty, and He is willing to give Liberty freely to you in exchange for your willingness to surrender. You can have whatever you want. All you have to do is ask and show respect. This creator created love as well, another component of existence that is essential to a functional conscious person's experience.
Now some will call this insanity. Some will attack the mental health of me and people who believe like me. Let them. Believing in an infinite system and an infinite consciousness is by far the most liberating belief system someone can have. This is a clear demonstration of the power of ideas and beliefs. Belief systems can either confine you and enslave you, or they can liberate you. Many secularists and skeptics can't see that.
The sciences are, I believe, a significant component of this infinite system, which is why I don't delegitimize the sciences. Even so, so also, to the absolute, is the imagination and creativity. Creativity is the highest form of intelligence. This is why you don't intentionally damage the brain.
This is why you don't lobotomize people, chemical or otherwise. You can cripple or destroy someone's creativity and/or imagination, which in turn may prevent someone from contributing amazing and revolutionary contributions to society and the world. Lobotomies are honestly worse than murder. If you kill someone, you set their energy free to return to the Creator and the broader existence. If you cripple their brain, you make them a mentally-neutered prisoner in their body, which is worse than death.
