Ideological Infiltration of a Society
It's not just agencies or governments that try to infiltrate and undermine societies and opposing systems. I am starting to lean toward the possibility that ideologies themselves have agents or representatives that infiltrate groups or societies, activate under certain stimuli, and then work towards completing the objectives of the ideas they represent.
This hypothesis is based on a presumption that I have had for a while, and that presumption is that complex ideas like ideologies and belief systems exist in a perfect conceptual form independently of human beings, and humans access them in literature and the works of previous thinkers, or they are the source of the ideas and access them through reason and/or the imagination.
I would argue that humans never "create" ideas outright. Instead, I would argue that ideas have always existed, and the human mind discovers and stumbles upon them. I have my reasons to suspect some complex ideas have agency and may be even sentient information in its own right. They may have a will of their own, but are dependent on conscious physical organisms with sophisticated and advanced brains and communication capacity like human beings in order to operate and complete their objectives.
If my presumption has any merit or accuracy, then the hypothetical concept of ideological infiltration would be quite plausible. Ideological infiltration would occur when an ideology has taken root in an individual's mind that may run contrary to the cultural and social zeitgeist that holds sway and power in the society where that individual bearing host to the new or antithetical ideology resides in or infiltrates.
The difference between this concept and Hollywood depictions of things like sleeper cells is that these individuals are not tied to any particular agency or government. Their only loyalty is to the ideas they hold in their minds and achieving the goals and objectives of those ideas.
As a result, ideological infiltrators are hard to detect since they are not tied to any particular agencies or governments, and often times they may not even be loyal or sympathize with any group either. They are true independent operatives, representing the cause of ideas like how to structure economies and governments, or new and original ideologies never encountered before and not based on any particular national identity. Truly new methods of thinking
One thing I have learned in my observations of human existence is that governments and government institutions like the military or the various intelligence agencies like the CIA base the foundation of their existence around principles and ideas. Even governments and the systems and agencies they create become agents and representatives of these "sentient" ideas in their own right. These groups will always act on behalf of ideas and ideologies. Ideas always form the foundations of the goals and objectives of government agencies and sociopolitical organisations and movements.
To conclude, ideological infiltrators are the individuals whose priorities and objectives mostly suit the interests of the ideas they hold in their minds as well as their own self-interests and desires that are greatly benefited when the objectives of their ideas are furthered and completed. They infiltrate to revolutionize, subvert, or overthrow a system, and they do it without any ties or loyalties to any nation, system, or agency with the exception of their own ideology or belief system.
Good afternoon friends! I hope this lovely spring day is the catalyst for deep thought for all of you!
