The Fire of Hope

Without hope, life is hell. I've definitely felt the truth of that. In a world poisoned by darkness, doubt, fear, and hate, hope remains one of the most significant and most essential concepts and forces for the betterment, healing, and resilience of humanity, both as a whole and directly regarding the individual.

You are never truly defeated until your hope is taken or destroyed. If your hope dies, and the wonders of existence and the boundless possibilities of creation get labeled as delusions and even the light of truth, goodness, love, and righteousness get denied their legitimacy and even their very existence in your eyes, then your mind truly gets engulfed in a thick, oppressive black void, one that often is exceedingly difficult to break free of, and all but impossible without hope.

When that void overtakes your mind, friends, and hope is stolen and crippled, then you are truly in a living hell.

Crippling or annihilating hope in the minds of a population is one of the most utilized tactic of an enemy and an oppressor. Once hope is taken, then people lose their will to fight and stand up for themselves. If hope dies completely, then evil and corruption are victorious in their perversion and destruction of sacred things, innocence, and the general goodness of reality.

Hope is very hard to kill. It is also contagious, and once something is unleashed that ignites a spark of hope, then hope can spread like wildfire in the minds and hearts of people in a community, nation, or world. Hope burns through the lies and blindness of fear, and gives us foresight past the uncertainty of death into eternity. It gives us the ability to trust and have faith in the goodness and supremacy of God. The fire of hope initiates and aids in the liberation of a person's mind. It also is a major catalyst in the liberation from the oppression of a corrupt and evil authority.

The fire of hope can prevent a world from falling over a precipice. Hope is the antithesis and overthrower of fear, and powers the engines and drive of reslient men, men who long for the purpose and liberty that only God can offer, and this world surely won't. I hope my hope catches fire in me, and I hope that hope catches fire in this world one day, and I hope that hope initiates and aids in this world's liberation. Good night friends.

I hope you all keep your hopes up
