Extreme Polarization

Extreme Polarization: How the radicalization and the push to the extremes of our two political parties is corrupting and degrading the system of checks and balances.
Let's face it, both political parties have shifted further to the extremes of their respective sides of the political spectrum, and this is crippling our system of checks and balances the founding fathers designed by creating three distinct, separate, but equal branches of the Federal government. Each branch has a particular assigned function within the system, and each has a certain power over the other two.
The trinitarian based concept of checks and balances had the sole purpose of preventing tyranny and abuse of power. Unfortunately, the radicalization of the two political parties and the fact that the supreme court is definitely no longer politically impartial is crippling a system that was once as close to perfection as a government on earth could get.
The only solution to this corruption and degradation is returning the two parties more towards the center of the political spectrum and the return of an impartial supreme court.
That, and the media must begin becoming more efficient and successful at cutting through the deception and confusion that flood the nation's social media and mass media. In other words, we also need more impartial sources of information. If we are successful in doing this, we may see a return to a more politically stable and less confused and deceived state of the minds of our nation's citizens.
