The Sun Will Rise/The Great Disguise

The Sun Will Rise/ The Great Disguise:

Tomorrow I know the sun will rise,
and send its fire upon the skies.
Out of my bed I am to rise,
and continue with this great disguise.
I'll perform the acts, and face the day.
My mind and soul is here to stay
Against my will, with great dismay
For something else, I long and pray
I put on a mask that hides the pain
For life, I have a great disdain,
Deep in my heart and on my brain
I wish for peace and freedom again
I tell myself it will be over soon
The sun will set, so will the moon,
But in my life it is but noon,
It surely won't be over soon.
The mask I wear, my great disguise
The veil I've pulled over my own eyes.
The tales of grief and the greatest of lies
Will never cease the sun to rise.
